Hi Tim,
As our class chorus contest ended, we have to get started on preparing for the midterm exam. But before preparing, I want to share all the joy with you, Tim.
We started practicing for out chorus contest for a long time before the day comes. Some of us, don't like Summer asked us to practice the song during our lunch break; some of us get tired practicing the same songs every day; some of us even pretend to sing but not really sing at first. But all of them became very earnest at practicing. Part of our classmates and I even sing the song during class recess. We got attached to that song. As the result, the song came to repay a kindness on us. WE WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP! I really appreciate Summer and our music teacher and all students of 120, we won the championship together and we won't forget the moment when the judges announced the first place goes to class 120, and the screaming of all our classmates.
Best regards, Megan

Letter 23: Not the champion but honor
Hi Tim,
A class basketball game was concluded. As you know, our class who the fourth place in the game. We were beaten by class 6, 7, and 16. In the last game against class 7, all of the basketball players of our class were exhausted due to the previous game v.s class 16. Classmates know they're already tired, so didn't say any bad words after losing the game. We all appreciate them for their good performance and efforts that they dedicated in the game. Few of our classmates didn't stay after class to watch the basketball game and cheer for the team, that say they don't want to spend time on the things that are not related to them. I was very furious when I first heard them saying that because if we win the game, the honor belongs to whole class, and the whole class includes them, right? I just can't believe they said that.
Sincere, Megan

Letter 22: A busy week
Hello Tim,
This week is a really busy week to me. I had to hand in a report at almost every day of this week. Such a busy schedule like this reminds me of the fact that I'm in an English gifted program. When I first tell my friends which are not in ZZSH that I became a member of the big English Honors Program family, they all thought I was insane (because we were ehp students back in junior high, too. And the teacher there was just... how to say that, unbearable?) Anyway, I believe my own decision, and trust that I must can get some amazing experience in this class. Nonetheless, the class is still tiring ( not surprised) though the home room teacher is much better than the old one. I think the treasure I got in this class is not difficult English vocabulary nor advanced English grammar, but abilities to present, to cooperate with different kinds of people, and to manage limited time.
Best regards, Megan
