I'm not sure if the cup song you mention in the newsletter is what I've already knew. What I knew
is a song from the movie" Pitch Perfect" The female leading character named "Beca" went to a chorus audition of their school. She sang the Cup Song in the audition and then get qualified. The song also appeared on the Pitch Perfect 2 movie for a little while.

Using only a cup and your hands to create the beats is the main feature of this song. I think actually you can create those beats by only one hands, but with the cup involved, it suddenly became much cooler.
Dear Megan,
ReplyDeletei have see the Anne Kendrick version, where she is a cook in a restaurant, but not the other ones that you mentioned. Now, the internet if full of people and groups doing their own versions.
Did you watch the one from the girls at Santa Rosa?
Glad to have you back writing!
Tim
Yeah, I've watched the version of them, and I think they played well!
DeleteThey played the Cup song quite neatly, and that really amazed me!
